I sold mine (the white one) in early 2015. Kyler sold his (dark grey) in early 2017.
Super duper clean xbs I just found a polar white 5 speed with 90 thousand miles one owner I’m trying to pick up. He wants 9000 for it

Where did you get that golf R bumper from??
Purchased it piece by piece from a couple different places: ShopDAP, FCPEURO, ECStuning and the dealership. Just went through and ordered all of the part numbers I needed, whoever was cheapest and had them in stock.

Do you do a stage 2 clutch with the stage 2 IE?
I didn’t need to, the stock clutch can handle the power of the IE stage 2 tune.
did you ever take this to a track day?
No, I never did. It probably would not have faired well. It was on stock brakes/pads. With upgraded brakes and a rear sway bar it would’ve been okay though.
@@NikPreusser oh ok Thanks for your input. Definitely gonna go for bigger brakes and struts with sway bars for sure. It does seem pretty nimble, handling wise, as it has the same rear suspension as the GLI.

@@oscar3522 I've had IE stage 2 on both 15' & 17' S3 and they pass emissions testing in NYC with an O2 defouler and reverting the ecu/tcu to stock. I've had APR on my MK7 GTI stage 3 and the same worked, the only difference is APR tunes can only be reverted by a certified tech who basically does the same thing anyone with IE would do with a laptop and OBD II. IMHO IE is the better tune but not night and day.

Im in the market of getting a new/used car and thinking about a 2017-2018 s3 but I just personally can’t get over the mediocre sound of these cars.. everything else I absolutely love from the looks and performance as well as the driving experience.

mediocre?? Honestly, it sounds way better than I thought when actually driving, it is nice and throaty. I really love how my 2018 S3 sounds with factory resonator delete especially. Ive had over 10 performance cars and my S3 is hands down the most fun to drive....smiles per gallon is not a lie.
2021 i still watch this video hope someday i will have that toyota bb here in Philippines 🇵🇭

Im guessing the clutch is not stock? I'm thinking to get mine tuned (stage 1) but am hearing that the clutch doesn't handle anything above stock power.
Yeah, unfortunately that’s pretty true. I just replaced the clutch on mine at 11k miles because it couldn’t handle the turbo upgrade.

What kind of Rims are these ? What size are they and did you do any modifications to make them fit?
This video persuaded me to put a similar setup on my wagon. Neuspeed intake first, AWE Touring exhaust second, & finally the IE stage 2 power kit last week. No regrets & exactly what it needed.
How’s reliability? I have the same setup and am considering adding the stage 2 IE to my 09 rabbit
